On Monday we had a Garden to Table lesson and were asked to describe some vegetables using our senses.

The Taro has a mild nutty flavour. It smells like spinach. It looks like lily pads. When you pinch the taro it cracks.  Seini

Space Poems

Our inquiry in Hoiho is about space and how the moon orbits the Earth and the Earth orbits the sun. We know that it takes 365 days for the Earth to Orbit the Sun and that gives us seasons. We are learning about gravity too and gravity keeps us on Earth.

SMRF it!

Today in Cybersmart we were learning how to SMRF it. This is really important so that we can get on with our learning and find it again later on.

Here is Caleb's poster about how to SMRF it...

Our New Interactive White Boards

We have a lovely, special new touch screen white board.  It has an invisible rubber, you can write all over it. You can play games on it, like Guess my Number and you can draw on it. You can drag images around on it too. It has lots of colours and it helps make our learning more interesting

Keep in mind, if no one else is able to look after their child/ren at home then please complete the Alert Level 3 registration form alternatively email or phone me directly before Monday.
